We are proud to share that Mr. Tao, founder of Looksee Eyewear, has officially been appointed President of the Taizhou Eyewear Association this year.

For us, this recognition is not only an honor, but also a responsibility.
Taizhou has long been one of the most important eyewear manufacturing regions in China. Over the years, the industry here has developed from traditional OEM production into a more diversified ecosystem covering product development, material innovation, supply chain integration, and international manufacturing collaboration.
As part of this industry, Looksee has grown together with the local eyewear manufacturing community. From our early factory operations to today’s multi-factory production system, we have witnessed how global eyewear markets continue to evolve, and how customer expectations are changing rapidly.
Today, buyers are no longer only looking for factories that can produce at low cost. More brands are searching for manufacturing partners who understand product development, materials, design trends, sustainability, and long-term quality consistency.
This shift also brings new responsibilities to manufacturers.
As President of the Taizhou Eyewear Association, Mr. Tao hopes to help promote stronger collaboration across the industry, support manufacturing upgrades, and encourage more long-term thinking in product development and quality standards.
For Looksee, this means continuing to invest in:
- Sustainable eyewear materials such as G820, G850, rPET, and bio-acetate
- Product development capabilities for ODM projects
- Advanced manufacturing technologies including titanium processing and 3D printing
- More stable quality control systems
- Long-term partnerships with global eyewear brands

We believe the future of eyewear manufacturing is not only about production capacity, but also about innovation, flexibility, and responsible development.
As global markets continue to change, Chinese eyewear manufacturers also need to move forward from “manufacturing suppliers” to “development partners.”
This is one of the directions we hope to continue building toward in the years ahead.
We would like to thank our customers, partners, and industry peers for their continued trust and support.
The journey continues, and we look forward to growing together with the global eyewear industry.
